SNOW DAY!

Well Caleb's Birthday wish came true... SNOW! SNOW! SNOW! Our forcasted 1-2 inches on grassy areas turned out to be 6-7 inches everywhere! Of course the boys were ecstatic and played all day long till dark. Their 1st real snowfall could be the last they see in Athens for another 10 years! We asked Caleb if he wished for the power to go out too, because with the snow came lots of ice, trees down, no power for 24hours and being snowed in our house and street. Besides being a little chilly it was kind of nice to "camp out" by the fire and spend time together. But we sure were celebrating when the power came back!

Colt's 1st Snow

Colt seemed to think snow was a little overrated...cold and wet! He opted out of playing with " the boys" for being inside with mommy. This will probaly be the last time this happens!

It was a tie between Daddy and Caleb being the snowball fight king...

It's hard to believe it's supposed to be over 75 degrees over the weekend!!

Colt & His Big Brothers

One Month Old Already!

Our little guy is bringing us so much joy! We are falling in love with him more each day. His looks keep changing and no one can decide if he looks more like Caleb and Cae. They look like triplets in their baby pics!

Shawn and I just celebrated our 9th anniversary on February 26th. We wonder where those 9 years went, but then again we have 3 pretty big ideas! Aunt Kriya came up that day and blessed us with some of these wonderful photos and spent time with the boys. Then Uncle Rob relieved Kriya and watched Caleb and Cae while we went out for an anniversary dinner that night. Colt went with us and slept the whole time, which was his little anniversary gift for us!

Silly Cousins!

OUR LITTLE ENTREPRENEUR

Caleb woke up Saturday morning playing around with pipe cleaners and discovered how to braid and make bracelets out of them. Within a short while he had made 20 of them, was sketching out a design for his store, making price tags and a store sign ... all on his own. It was pretty amazing to sit back and watch the whole process evolve. As people walked by he was even giving them away. He started out the day not even knowing that you got money in exchange for the bracelets and by the end of the day he made $11!!

The lesson continued on Sunday morning when again he woke up all on his own and wanted to give some of what he had made in the church offering. Shawn shared that this was his first offering from money he had made all on his own. As Caleb walked back down the aisle to his seat people were just handing him money. He left with $22! On the way home he said, " Mom, I want to learn all about giving."

"Give and it shall be given unto you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you." Luke 6:38

Caleb's 6th Birthday!

Yes, it will be birthday central around the Reuter house in the years to come, with Caleb and Colt's birthdays a week apart! This year we had a family dinner celebration on the 29th for Caleb and then a couple of weeks later had some of his friends over for a "Critter Party". Granpa Greg brought over some creepy crawlies to show the kids, and they LOVED it! Nonna was our "Rice Krispy Treat" cake master. Check out Kung Fu Panda!

Seems like yesterday Caleb was Colt's age so mommy's soaking in each minute with Baby Colt!
